Sometimes nature smiles back, but this smile seems more sinister than it does benevolent. Probably thanks to the dark dead outline that encapsulates its pareidolic smile. I find myself saying this a lot, but this is my new favorite leaf photo. It has everything I desire in a leaf photo: contrast between light and dark, leading lines, well defined veins, vibrant colors, and interesting details. What I like most however is the black parts of the leaf sandwiching the river of color through the middle, that is what makes it unique from my other photos.
