Chloropastel

Chloropastel

I love pastel colors in nature. The two occurances I see it most are in autumn leaves changing their color and clouds scattering the sun’s light in the form of a beautiful sunset. What are some natural occurrences of pastel colors you have witnessed? As is the case with most of the leaves I photograph, the colors of the leaf appeared quite ordinary until I applied backlighting. Yellow, orange, red, and green create a very interesting palette of color across this leaf which is accentuated by the sharp details in the white veins makes for one of the more interesting leaves I’ve photographed.
